The most successful Czech driver of the last year’s edition of Barum Czech Rally Zlin was Pavel Valoušek who ended up on the fourth position with Peugeot 207 S 2000 from the Kronos team
This is the first time that the name of the rally includes the country where the event is held. This year’s edition is called Barum Czech Rally Zlín. “It’s logical. All important events are labeled with the place of their location.
The track of this year’s 39th edition of Barum Czech Rally Zlín is 652 km long and includes 15 special stages at 8 sections in total length of 255 km. The event will be held in two legs in 21st – 23rd August 2009.
Organisers of Barum Czech Rally Zlin today issued supplementary regulations, itinerary and entry form.
Rally Guide 1 has been issued. On its 39 pages it offers basic information on the 39th edition of Barum Czech Rally Zlin which takes place from 21st to 23rd August 2009.
Star Rally historic is demonstrational drive historic rally cars along special stages without timing. Either historic cars or their replicas can take part. 95 kms of special stages (the same as for Barum Rally Zlín)
