Zlaté jablko shopping centre is back with Barum rally accompanying programme!

The 54th edition of the BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN is knocking on the door. Like every year, fans arriving to Zlín can look forward to an attractive accompanying programs again. Just like in previous years, they can get in the mood for the czech biggest rally event at the Zlaté jablko Shopping and Entertainment Center in the town center of Zlín, where a number of interesting events are organized for them. From the beginning of August, they can take a close look at a pair of exhibited rally cars, or test their own driving skills on a rally simulator, where they can also compete for attractive prizes. Over the coming week, they can look forward to popular autograph sessions with leading crews.

The ground floor of the Golden Apple Shopping and Entertainment Center was decorated with the motifs of the 54th Barum rally on August 4, when the organizers placed a pair of legendary rally cars from the Mladá Boleslav car manufacturer as part of the exhibition History of Škoda 130 Years. Specifically, these are the Fabia WRC and Fabia R5 cars, which eleven-time Barum rally winner Jan Kopecký raced in domestic and foreign special stages during his highly successful career. At the same time, visitors can try out the role of a rally driver themselves on rally simulators provided by Space Laser Aréna Zlín. And just like in real races, the author of the fastest time will not miss out on a rich reward. This year, too, there is a competition for an exciting ride in the passenger seat of a rally special.

During the coming week before the start of the rally itself, its biggest stars will traditionally visit Zlaté jablko. This time, fans can expect three autograph sessions. The first one will be held on Tuesday, August 12th at 6:30 PM, when the Škoda drivers will be present. The day after that, at 7:30 PM, other famous names from the Czech and foreign scene will be introduced. The biggest attractions will undoubtedly include multiple champion Jan Kopecký, defending champion Dominik Stříteský, current leader of the domestic championship standings Filip Mareš, and local favorites Adam Březík and Erik Cais. Among the foreign crews, the main candidates for the title of European champion will arrive, such as Miko Marczyk from Poland, Italian Andrea Mabellini, Norwegian Mads Østberg, and many other interesting personalities of European rallying.

The last autograph session will be held on Thursday, August 14th, when the biggest stars of this year's Star Rally Historic will be giving out autographs or photos from 6:00 PM. Visitors to the Zlaté jablko will also have access to a rally fan shop at all times, where they can stock up on the printed rally magazine, event tickets, and a variety of souvenirs for the upcoming 54th edition of the Barum rally. Fans will hear the roar of the racing car engines for the first time on Friday, August 15, when the crews will complete the qualifying special stage in the morning. At 4 p.m., the competition will officially start on Náměstí Míru, and in the evening, Zlín will come alive with the city's popular super special stage.
