The first tough kilometers on classic special stages have been completed by the competition crews of the 54th Barum Czech Rally Zlín. During Saturday morning, a total of three special stages were driven in the Zlín region, which tested the endurance of not only the competition drivers, but also their cars. The defending champion Dominik Stříteský was out of the game due to a triple puncture, and the Hungarian Csómos and the Romanian Tempestini are not continuing in the competition after accidents either. Jan Kopecký is at the top of the standings ahead of Andrea Mabellini and Simon Wagner. However, the gaps are very close, the elite five fit within just five seconds. We interviewed the fastest pilots of the first Saturday section in front of our camera.
