10. 8. 2023 - Roman ORDELT

The official list of crews registered for the 52nd edition of the Barum Czech Rally Zlín 2023 was published a few days ago. The organizers from the Auto Club Barum Zlín in the Czech Republic have registered a total of 114 crews from 22 countries, of which 42 are foreign. Not only representatives from Europe will appear in Zlín, but also a crew from New Zealand will come to the Czech Republic.

A total of 70 crews have entered the European Rally Championship (ERC) starting field with 41 ERC priority crews. The highest number of priorities is within ERC1, consisting of 24 drivers. The FIA priority consists of five drivers who will appear in Zlín. Within the European championship, the RC2 class is the most numerous with 35 cars, followed by the RC4 class with 31 cars.

Among the 17 brands, the winged arrow from Mladá Boleslav clearly dominates, just like in previous years, with a total of 35 Škoda cars in the entry list. The next popular brands are Peugeot, Ford, Opel and Renault. Among the entries, there are 34 cars in the Rally2 (R5) category with 26 cars of the Škoda brand clearly dominating, while the Fabia RS Rally2 is represented with ten cars. The unusually high number of six women representatives behind the wheel and a total of 18 mixed crews also adds variety to the entry list.
