Governor Mišák: Everyone should have a good time

The Zlín region is a significant partner of Barum Czech Rally Zlín, supporting the event morally, financially and providing technical aid for the Headquarters. Governor Stanislav Mišák before the beginning of the 46th Barum Rally, an even within FIA ERC and Czech Rally Championship 2016, praised all organisers involved in preparation and the rally itself. And he hopes everything works out.

The highest representative of the Zlín Region is glad that Barum Czech Rally Zlín attracts to this region tens of thousands fans and he is full of expectations. 'I wish all competitors wonderful results, and that they'd be happy with themselves and provide fans with great sport experience. Everyone should have a good time and come back home safe and sound,' said Stanislav Mišák. 'I'd like to thank all people that make this motor sport event possible. Hopefully, nothing goes wrong,' said Governor of the Zlín region.

Organisers of Barum Czech Rally Zlín can also count on the support of the Zlín city. 'For our city is holding Barum Rally the biggest event of the year. We are doing our best along with the organisers. Not only do we support this event logistically but financially as well. I wish, this event goes smoothly, the drivers are lucky and the fans are pleased,' said the Deputy of the Mayor of the Zlín city Bedřich Lansfeld.

General partner is none other than Continental Barum s.r.o. 'Our company is very proud to be associated with this rally for the 46th time. I wish the drivers would choose wisely their tyres, fast ride without mistakes and the fans amazing rally experience,' said Libor Láznička, Managing Director Continental Barum s.r.o.

Barum Rally kicks off on Friday night with Spectators' Super Special Stage in the heart of Zlín and in the former Bata factory. 'Rally is ready, we're just putting final touches, which we couldn't do earlier. There will be 123 contemporary cars on the start line, 83 vintage cars and single-seaters form the 30's, so I think there is definitely something to see here and it's going to be the great event, it's supposed to be,' said Clerk of the Course Miloslav Regner.
