The 44th Barum Czech Rally Zlín 2014 is in full swing and the weather should not be a disturbance. 'The precipitation zone is located south-east of Zlín in Veselí nad Moravou and Uherský Brod. Scattered rain showers are possible in Zlín region, but only with a low frequency,' says RNDr. Milena Ferebauerová from Czech Hydrometeorological Institute when asked about the upcoming weather.

Noticeably better weather is expected in the area of Vsetín, where the stages Semetín and partly Troják are held. 'The forecast for Vsetín is brighter. Rain showers are not excluded, however, the ones that might hit Zlín on Saturday will not reach the Vsetín area,' Ferebauerová specified.

Sunday, being the last day of August, will bring similar weather. 'The rain showers will have a decreasing intensity and will only be sporadic. The same also goes for Kroměříž,' said the meteorologist.

The rains are likely to hit Zlín when the rally is over. 'Overcast and significant rainfall will come up later in the afternoon around the eighteenth and nineteenth hour,' concluded Ferebauerová.
