Wedding at the Barum Czech Rally Zlín? YES!

29. 8. 2014 - Jakub Hofbauer, press centre BCRZ

A very colourful Friday programme has witnessed an extraordinary event. Apart from the traditional rally related activities, a wedding took place right on the starting ramp.

However, the couple has a close connection to the rally. The newly-weds have met right at the Barum Rally and now, after thirty years, they finally tied the knot. "It is one of those unbelievably powerful stories of the Barum Czech Rally Zlín," said the city Mayor MUDr. Miroslav Adámek, who officiated the wedding right in front of the town hall. "In the past the husband competed as a co-driver and when he told organizers that he is planning to marry the love of his life on the starting platform, I didn't hesitate for a second!"

Now there is nothing left but to wish them a happy ride through their rally lives!
