The Skoda Motorsport factory crew with a Skoda Fabia S2000 has settled in the front of the overall classification of the Barum Czech Rally Zlin after the first four Saturday’s stages.
The first pass through the feared section was won by Bryan Bouffier and this was his first fastest time at a special stage.
The SS 4 Trojak is the longest stage of this year’s Barum Rally. The stage tested the crews and cars in the heat.
Before the stage was cancelled we managed to record the reports of drivers before the accident of the crew Pavel Valousek and Zdenek Hruza.
The favourites began the fight right from the first Saturday’s stage of the 41st Barum Czech Raqlly Zlin.
On Friday evening the 41st Barum Czech Rally Zlin 2011 started. The drivers tested their cars before the difficult Saturday leg straight in the centre of the city of Zlin.
The beginning of the Saturday’s leg of the 41st Barum Czech Rally Zlin was not very good for Czech crews.
The factory crew of the Skoda Motorsport Juho Hanninen, Mikko Markkula (Finland) with a Skoda Fabia S2000 had the best time at the Super Special Stage.
Thousands of rally fans were not discouraged by hot weather from spending several hours at Namesti Miru square in order to watch the ceremonial start of the 41st Barum Czech Rally Zlin.
The 41st Barum Czech Rally Zlin was honoured by the presence of FIA President Jean Todt.
